Dan is the Chief Operating Officer for Tarpley & Underwood. His responsibilities include the daily operations of the firm, along with human resources, information technology, financial management, and strategic planning.
Prior to joining Tarpley & Underwood, Dan was Vice President of Operations with CCS Medical, a specialty medical supply company. He is a former Manager in the consulting practice of Deloitte & Touche, where he managed operational engagements for financial institution. Dan started his career with SunTrust Banks, where he was a Vice President in trust and investment operations. He has over twenty years of operational experience. Dan received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia in 1983.
Dan is a member of Midway Community Church, Alpharetta, Georgia, where he serves as an Elder and Chairman of the Finance Committee. Dan enjoys golf and running. He and his wife, Debbie, are actively involved in the lives of their three children and live in Cumming, Georgia.
