Lorain’s clients include both businesses and individuals in a myriad of industries. He works a great deal with construction and development companies in residential and commercial real estate. Before joining the firm, Lorain had been in the public accounting arena for over thirty-two years. He started his career at Arthur Andersen and became a partner in the firm of Ralph H. Birdsong & Associates. In 1979, Lorain co-founded the firm of Arnold & Hill, PA, which merged into Tarpley & Underwood in 2003. He earned his BBA from the University of Georgia.
Lorain is an avid reader and history buff who enjoys studying the Civil War era and Bible history. He also likes music, especially bluegrass music, and plays it himself on the guitar. Lorain has been married for over thirty-five years to his wife, Mary. Together they enjoy vacationing on Saint Simons Island off the south Georgia coast. Lorain and Mary live in Lawrenceville with their son, Matthew, and their Lhasa Apso named Sassy. |
