Nicole wears many hats within the firm as she works with corporate, partnership, and high-wealth individual clients as well as championing a plethora of software and procedural responsibilities. Her main area of focus, however, is state and local income tax. Prior to joining Tarpley & Underwood in 2000, Nicole had a broad range of accounting experience working with a small mortgage company and then with a Fortune 500 company. She switched gears in her career after she earned her Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree. Nicole graduated with honors form Georgia Tech.
Nicole exemplifies a great work-life balance as the mother of three. When her busy life allows her the time, she enjoys reading with her book club and she has a passion for interior decorating. Nicole does many of the home improvement projects around her home herself and isn’t afraid of her power tools - that’s her table saw in the basement. But her favorite pastime is spending time with her children, especially if its time on family vacation, and preferably on a roller coaster. Nicole and her husband, Rob, live with their children in Cumming. |
