Oliver has over thirty years of experience in accounting, audit, tax, consulting and management. The majority of these years were spent in public accounting providing services to clients. Most recently, Oliver was the Founder and Partner of a local accounting firm. Previously, he spent almost 15 years with two of the Big 4 firms and also worked as a CFO for a company in the agribusiness industry and for a company in the transportation industry.
His primary responsibilities are audit, review and compilation services to both private and public entities yet he also provides tax and business consulting services. His areas of specialization include: retail, service, distribution, manufacturing, construction, non-for-profit, financial institutions, technology and governmental.
Oliver graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso in 1973 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. His continuing professional education has concentrated on auditing, financial reporting, business consulting, and tax. He is licensed as a CPA in Georgia and Florida.
He is also very active in various civic, community and professional organizations such as serving as the Treasurer of the Rotary Club, being a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, serving on the Board of Directors at the Phoenix Society of Atlanta, representing the Peachtree Racquet Club as the President and being a member of the Buckhead Club. |
